| The centre provides placement for secondary
aged hearing impaired students of East Devon. It is housed
in a purpose built building and equipped to support the children
both educationally and audiologically.
The centre links with a range of outside agencies, including
East Devon’s hearing impaired secondary team, primary
schools with HSC, audiology departments as well as teachers
and students of other HSCs throughout Devon.
In line with Clyst Vale’s Learning Support Department,
the Hearing Support Centre works towards integration within
the full life of the College wherever possible and this
is supported with a developing range of communication methods
and language support.
